We produce clear, site-specific Tree Risk Management Plans (TRMPs) that demonstrate a responsible and proactive approach to managing tree-related risk across your estate or landholding.
The TRMP serves as a concise overarching document that reflects your commitment to tree safety and legal compliance. It forms a key part of your risk management strategy and acts as a first line of defence should any incidents arise.
The plan includes professionally assessed risk zoning, supported by traffic light-coded mapping to clearly identify and prioritise areas of concern. It sets out an inspection and maintenance regime that is proportionate, defensible, and practical to implement.
In addition, the TRMP outlines the legal framework under which tree risk must be managed. This includes guidance drawn from both statute and civil case law. The estate’s responsibilities are underpinned by a legal duty of care to tenants, visitors, and users of public highways or rights of way. These responsibilities are set out in legislation such as the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, and the Occupiers’ Liability Acts of 1957 and 1984.
